Hyderabad/New Delhi, 26 November 2025: Mahindra University has announced a strategic partnership with Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) to establish a Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) Centre on its campus. As the first private institution in Telangana to host a BEST Centre, this collaboration marks a significant milestone in engineering skilling and industry–academia integration. Supported through Bajaj Auto’s flagship CSR initiative, the Centre will focus on two industry-critical verticals: Advanced Manufacturing (Industry 4.0 & IIoT) and Firmware Development.

As part of the collaboration, Bajaj Auto will take the lead in developing the BEST Centre. The curriculum—crafted by specialist engineers from Bajaj Auto—is aligned with real-time industry needs and addresses existing academic gaps. Bajaj Auto CSR will also sponsor advanced equipment and infrastructure, reinforcing their long-standing commitment to youth skilling and engineering excellence.
Enabling Students with Future-Ready Skills
Speaking on the partnership, Dr. Yajulu Medury highlighted the importance of industry-integrated learning:
“With the evolving demands of diverse industries, we aim to ensure that students gain practical exposure to technologies shaping the future. Through deeper engagement with industry partners, we ensure academic learning remains closely aligned with industry requirements. The BEST Centre will not only enhance the academic experience but also strengthen India’s position as a global technology leader and enrich the nation’s skill ecosystem.”
The Centre will also extend its training to external final-year engineering students, offering short-term, internship-based skilling programmes tailored to industry expectations.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Mr. Sudhakar Gudipati, Vice President, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said:
