Bhajans Echoed as Devotees Played Holi with Flowers
Hazaribagh: Khandelwal Mahila Sangh organized a grand celebration of Thakurji’s Vrindavan Holi at the guest house near Bada Akhara. The event, infused with devotion and enthusiasm, saw members of the Sangh express their faith through vibrant rituals and festivities.
Traditional Bhajans and Games Add to the Festivities
The program commenced with the installation of Radha-Krishna’s idol, followed by rituals and prayers. Devotees celebrated by playing Holi with flowers, dancing to devotional bhajans like Rang Barse and Holi Khelein Raghuveera. Women actively participated in various cultural games, including Radha-Krishna quizzes and the Hoji game, adding a joyful spirit to the gathering.
Bhajan-Kirtan Enchants Devotees
A special Bhajan-Kirtan session painted the atmosphere in divine devotion. Melodious bhajans like Radha Naam Ki Gunj, Shyam Teri Bansi, and Holi Aayi Re resonated through the venue. The celebration concluded with the distribution of Prasad, blessing all attendees.
Preserving Culture Through Festivities
Runa Khandelwal, President of Khandelwal Mahila Sangh, emphasized the significance of such events in preserving cultural heritage, stating, “This festival is not just about colors but also devotion, love, and unity.” The program was conducted by Rakhi Khandelwal, with Rupa Khandelwal delivering the vote of thanks.
