Lucknow: Bhojpuri cinema superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ is set to appear once again in producer Prem Rai’s much-anticipated film Patna Se Pakistan 2, produced under the banner of Shreyas Films Pvt. Ltd. The film’s grand Muhurat was held in Lucknow today, marking the commencement of its shooting in the city.
Producer Prem Rai shared that after the phenomenal success of Patna Se Pakistan, the sequel is being crafted for audiences, with an expected release by June. Nirahua will reprise his lead role, and the film promises to be an even grander spectacle. “We aim to present this film in a new and unique way,” said Rai.

He also acknowledged the support of the Uttar Pradesh government, particularly under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for their initiatives in promoting film production. “We have received subsidies multiple times, which has encouraged filmmakers like us. While the first installment was shot in Gujarat, this sequel will be filmed in Uttar Pradesh, making it even more special,” he added.
Nirahua expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that after the massive success of Patna Se Pakistan, audiences eagerly demanded a sequel. “Their wish is now being fulfilled by producer Prem Rai and director Ananjay Raghuraj, who are bringing this action-packed film. The storyline continues the gripping journey from Patna to Pakistan, and fans are in for a thrilling experience.”
The grand Muhurat ceremony in Lucknow saw the presence of several notable figures from Bhojpuri cinema and dignitaries, including Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, Chairman of the Legislative Council and MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan. They congratulated the film’s team and emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting creative arts, recognizing films as both a source of entertainment and a means of generating employment.
Director Ananjay Raghuraj expressed his excitement, stating, “This film will not only entertain but also deliver a powerful message. We are committed to making it a compelling mix of story, action, and emotions.”
