Gunjan Pant, one of the most successful actresses in Bhojpuri cinema, has an impressive career spanning 150 Bhojpuri films, numerous music videos, over two thousand stage shows, and several popular Hindi TV serials. Born on January 5, 1989, in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Gunjan’s roots trace back to Nainital, Uttarakhand, where her parents, Kailash Pant and Manju Pant, hail from.
Gunjan completed her graduation from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, with aspirations of becoming a cardiologist. However, fate had different plans. Unlike many parents who impose career choices on their children, Gunjan’s parents gave her the freedom to follow her passion, which eventually led her to the world of acting.
Her journey began in 2004 with the television serial Zindagi Ek Safar, but it was Bhojpuri cinema that catapulted her to fame. She made her Bhojpuri film debut in 2008 with Karni Ke Phal Aaj Na To Kal and never looked back.
Gunjan has starred in several blockbuster Bhojpuri films, including Lakshman Rekha, Nathuniya Pe Goli Maare, Parivar, Maar Deb Goli Kehu Na Boli, Chand Jaisan Dulhin Hamaar, Yeh Ishq Bada Bedardi Hai, Beti Ho To Aisi, Patna Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, and Yadav Paan Bhandar. Currently, she is working on a Bhojpuri film in Agra, further cementing her legacy in the industry.
