Mumbai, January 13, 2025: Monalisa, who went viral for selling garlands and beads at the Maha Kumbh, has now been signed by director Sanoj Mishra for his upcoming film The Diary of Manipur. Currently, Sanoj Mishra is training Monalisa in acting. A previous video of her learning the Hindi alphabet from the director had gained widespread attention. Now, another video of Monalisa experiencing her first-ever flight journey is making waves on social media.
Today, Monalisa traveled by flight for the first time from Indore to Bengaluru, accompanied by director Sanoj Mishra. This journey marks a significant milestone in her life—not only has she boarded a flight for the first time, but she will also be staying in a luxurious 7-star hotel and having dinner there. Tomorrow, she is set to attend a jewelry function in Kerala as its brand ambassador.
Since going viral at the Maha Kumbh and being signed for The Diary of Manipur, Monalisa has been making headlines. The film’s shoot is set to commence soon, but before that, Sanoj Mishra wants to fully train Monalisa in acting.
This film is being produced under the banner of Sanoj Mishra Films. Sanoj Mishra is the writer, producer, and director of the movie, while co-producers include Sanjay Bhushan Patiala, Yameen Khan, and Javed Devariyawala. Notably, the film will also mark the Bollywood debut of Amit Rao, the elder brother of Rajkummar Rao. The film’s promotions are being handled by Sanjay Bhushan Patiala.
